This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes Rendershop (“Rendershop”)'s practices with respect to personal data that is collected when you access rendershop.ai (the “Site”), or access or use the Rendershop services, applications, or platform through the Site, or by any other means (collectively, the “Services”). Rendershop provides AI-powered rendering and design tools to help users create and reimagine visual content and architectural spaces with ease. As used in this Policy, “personal data” means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.
This Policy applies to personal data that Rendershop collects, uses, and discloses, which may include: (i) data collected through the Services, (ii) data collected during the training of Rendershop machine learning algorithms, (iii) data collected through Rendershop's websites, and (iv) data collected from third-party sources. Third-party sources may include, but are not limited to, public databases, commercial data sources, and the public internet. When you make purchases, we use third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) to collect credit card or other financial information. Rendershop does not store your credit card or payment information, only confirmation that payment was made. This Policy does not apply to personal data about Rendershop employees, candidates, and certain contractors and agents acting in similar roles.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, our practices, and other factors. Please check this Policy periodically for updates. If any changes are unacceptable to you, you should cease interacting with us and using the Services. When required under applicable law, we will notify you of any significant changes to this Policy.
“You” or “Your” refers to the individual accessing or using the Services, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Services, as applicable. “Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to Rendershop. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself, such as the duration of a page visit or technical device information.
Rendershop collects a variety of information to provide and improve its Services. Personal Data includes information you provide directly, such as your email address, user name, organizational details, and text or image prompts, photos, videos, documents, and messages input into the Services. We may also collect technical information, including your IP address, usage data, and data gathered through tracking technologies like cookies. Additionally, we collect information you share through surveys or communications with Rendershop. Usage Data is automatically collected and includes details about your device and browsing activity, such as browser type, operating system, and screen resolution, as well as information about the features of the Services you use, the duration of usage, and the pages or functionalities accessed. Tracking technologies such as cookies and web beacons are employed to monitor user activity, improve the user experience, deliver personalized content, and ensure functionality.
Rendershop uses server-side tracking technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Conversions API, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and understand how users interact with our Services. Through this integration, we may transmit certain data to Meta Platforms, Inc., including:
This data is transmitted server-to-server and is used by Meta to measure ad performance, optimize ad delivery, and build advertising audiences. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own Data Policy. We do not share the content of your Inputs or Assets with Meta. You may limit certain tracking by adjusting your cookie preferences or by managing your ad preferences directly through your Meta/Facebook account settings.
In the course of using our Services, you may provide input (such as images, text, or sketches) and receive output (such as AI-generated renders and videos). While your personal data contained within inputs remains protected under this Policy, the ownership and usage rights of the resulting outputs are governed by our Terms of Service. We utilize these outputs to provide the Services to you and, unless otherwise restricted, to improve our underlying technology. You are responsible for ensuring that any input you provide does not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Rendershop may use personal data, including the prompts and images you upload, to train, tune, and improve our machine learning models and AI rendering algorithms. We believe this is necessary to provide a high-quality, evolving service. However, we respect the privacy of your professional creative process. Where available in your account settings, you may opt-out of having your personal data and uploaded content used for the training of our models. Opting out may limit some personalized features of the Service but will not prevent you from using the core rendering tools.
Rendershop uses the collected Personal Data for multiple purposes, including providing, maintaining, and enhancing our Services, managing your account and access to functionalities, and fulfilling contractual obligations such as purchases or other agreements. We may contact you via email, phone, SMS, or app notifications to share updates, security alerts, or Service-related information. Additionally, we may provide you with news, promotions, and information about products and services similar to those you have purchased or inquired about, unless you opt out. Your data is also used to respond to inquiries, support requests, and feedback, as well as to evaluate or execute business transactions such as mergers or acquisitions. We analyze data to identify usage trends, assess the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, and enhance our Services, marketing strategies, and user experience. We may also use your information to ensure compliance with applicable laws and enforce our policies.
Rendershop may share your personal information with service providers, third-party vendors, and business partners to perform tasks on our behalf. Due to the high-computational nature of AI rendering, your data—including uploaded images and prompts—may be processed on third-party cloud infrastructure and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) clusters. We also share data with providers for analyzing usage trends, providing customer support, and processing payments. If Rendershop is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We may also disclose your personal data with your explicit consent or if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests from public authorities.
To provide the Services, Rendershop engages third-party service providers that may process your data on our behalf. These providers fall into the following categories:
Each service provider is contractually obligated to process personal data only for the purposes specified and in accordance with our instructions. We conduct due diligence on our service providers and require them to maintain appropriate security measures. The specific providers we use may change from time to time as we improve the Services.
Rendershop retains personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy, including compliance with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Usage Data may be retained for a shorter period unless it is used to enhance security or improve functionality. Your personal data may be processed in locations outside your state, province, or country, where data protection laws may differ. By using the Services and submitting your data, you consent to its transfer. Rendershop ensures that all transfers are secured and compliant with applicable regulations, employing adequate controls to safeguard your information during processing.
In the event of a security breach that results in the unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of your personal data, Rendershop will investigate the incident promptly and take appropriate measures to contain and remediate the breach. We will notify affected users without unreasonable delay, and in any event within seventy-two (72) hours of becoming aware of the breach, by email to the address associated with your account. The notification will describe the nature of the breach, the categories of data affected, the likely consequences, and the measures taken or proposed to address the breach. We will also notify applicable regulatory authorities as required by law. If we are unable to provide full details within 72 hours, we will provide an initial notification with available information and supplement it as our investigation progresses.
The security of your personal data is a priority for Rendershop. We implement commercially reasonable measures, including encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments, to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is entirely secure. While we strive to use the best available techniques to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We encourage you to take appropriate measures to protect your information, such as using strong passwords and avoiding sharing sensitive details over unsecured networks.
Rendershop's Services are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately. Upon verification, we will take prompt action to delete such data from our records and servers. In jurisdictions where parental consent is required for processing the personal information of minors, we may request parental consent before collecting or using such data.
