How to Use the Render Tool
The Render tool turns a sketch, CAD export, elevation, or 3D model screenshot into a photorealistic image. Upload any 2D or 3D drawing of your building or interior, choose how you want it to look, and click Render. The AI keeps the geometry of your input and adds the materials, lighting, and context.
What it costs
10 credits per generation. Credits are only charged for a successful generation — if a job fails, they are refunded automatically. See credits and billing for what each plan includes.
How to use it
- Upload your base — an image of a 3D model, hand sketch, or CAD PDF.
- Pick the Scene Type (Exterior, Interior, Landscape, or Floor Plan).
- Choose the Resolution (1K for drafts, 2K standard, 4K for premium).
- Pick an Architectural Style if you want to lock in a specific look.
- Choose a Render Style (Photorealistic for client work, Sketch/Watercolor for concept).
- Set Lighting, Image Angle, and Weather to control mood and framing.
- Optionally add Reference Images to lock in materials, styles, or lighting moods.
- Write a prompt describing what's in the scene — or leave it blank and we'll fill in defaults.
- Click Render. Each render costs 10 credits.
- Click any thumbnail in the recent renders bar to bring an earlier version back into the canvas.
Pro tips
- Be specific about materials in your prompt: say 'cedar siding' not just 'wood'.
- Combine an architectural style with a render style for the strongest results.
- Reference images are the fastest way to get a specific material look — much better than describing it in words.
- If the first render isn't right, try a different lighting time of day before changing anything else — lighting changes everything.
- For interiors, start at 2K. For hero exterior shots you'll print or pitch, go 4K.
